The Buzz - Feb 24

Dear Sinclair Families:

Since the last Buzz we have had a lot of activity happening at Sinclair! Both of our senior basketball teams made it to the finals and came "home" with silver....just like some other great Canadian teams! 
Thanks to our coaches - Ms. D, Ms. Eves and Mr. McKeen! We are proud of you too!

A donation of 300 dollars, kind notes and cards from a variety of classes and fidgets and toys from Ms. Richard's class was given to Yessi from the Kingston Native Centre and Language Nest! These items and thoughts are for the children of the Kashechewan First Nations evacuees who are in Kingston and a part of our community.

There are some upcoming initiatives to get excited about including a Sole4Souls fundraiser, a return of the Sinclair Yearbook and confirmation of the 75th Anniversary event, including clothing options with a unique 75th logo - created by Kelly Sanzo. There will also be a Wellness/Fit and Fun Event planned by our SAC! Stay Tuned for all!

• February 26th - Grade 3 Swim to Survive Session (Rescheduled) - 10:30 to 11:30 at Queen's

• March 2nd - Estimated start of the Soles4Souls Campaign - collection of new or gently used footwear donations!
• March 3rd - Grade 6/7 and 7/8 go to FSS' drama production and skills workshops!
• March 10^th - Grad Photos for Grade 8s 
• March 13^th - Spirit Day - To Be Announced
• March Break - Monday, March 16^th to Friday, March 20th
• March 26^th - Whole School Puppet Show - Indigenous Puppeteer Presentation
•  March 27^th - Symphony Trip - Grade ¾ to 5
